Bats: If you find an injured or grounded bat or need practical advice, call the National Bat Helpline Tel: 0345 1300 228. It is a free service run by volunteers and they aim to reply during office hours or until 10pm in the summer. There is a Facebook page - Bat Rescue Berkshire. 

Birds: Feathers Bird Rescue. Contact Denise via Messenger. Based in Reading.

Swans: Swan Lifeline Tel: 01753 859397. Open 08.00-17.30 but messages can be left. For non-emergencies email them at enquiries@swanlifeline.uk 

Hedgehogs: Hedgehog Bottom Tel: 01635 826120. 72 Chapel Street, Thatcham, RG18 4QN. Call ahead first in case they are full.
